How to Apply for Mock DGCA Exams

Step 1

Step 1: Apply for the online exam.

We provide practice papers and mock tests that are designed as per DGCA guidelines. Simulations can also be done at home. The fee for the 3 hours exam is Rs 2100

Step 2: Online Test

Select the exam you want to attempt. Either CPL or ATPL. The duration of the exam is 3 hours.

You can apply online or contact us via phone or email to enrol in KAPS Academy. You may also visit our centres after scheduling an appointment. We have two centres - HAL OLD AIRPORT ROAD & MG ROAD (Adjacent to Park Hotel). We offer both online & offline classes, and you can choose a convenient time for your class. This way, you can continue your job or studies while understanding the theoretical aspects of flying.

The minimum qualification to begin your Pilot training programme is 10+2 with Maths and Physics. However, if Maths and Physics weren’t among your subjects in 10+2, you can appear for these subjects at 10+2 level from recognised open schools. The minimum age for commencing pilot training is 18 years. One should also obtain a Medical clearance from a DGCA-appointed medical examiner.

To obtain a Commercial Pilot licence, you must clear the theory papers in the DGCA exam and complete the required flying hours. Clearing the medical examination by a DGCA-appointed medical examiner is also required.

KAPS Academy conducts classes during office hours from Monday to Saturday. With prior appointments, weekend classes for working professionals and students are also possible. Our online portal also offers mock exams that enable candidates to take subject-wise exams in the same pattern as conducted by DGCA.

The duration to become a pilot may vary from one institution to another depending on several factors. The factors that determine the training period for a commercial pilot are- the training program, individual aptitude, and availability of flight hours.

The minimum age requirement to start training may vary from one country to another. In India, the minimum age requirement to start the SPL (Student Pilot Training) is 16 years, for PPL (Private Pilot Training) 17 years, and for CPL (Commercial Pilot License) 18 years of age.

Generally, there is no weight and height restriction for commercial pilots, but practical considerations are related to aircraft operations and safety. Apart from that, there may be a few internal policies regarding height and weight requirements for their pilots.

Class 1 Medical Certificate is one of the primary requirements for any candidate aspiring to become a commercial pilot.
